Cerebral White Matter Dissection. This dissection demonstrates the superior longitudinal fasciculus II, which extends from the inferior parietal cortex to the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (Brodmanns areas 6, 8, and 46). The arcuate fasciculus is demonstrated originating in  Wernicke's language area and fusing with the inferior surface of the superior longitudinal fasciculus to project (not shown) to Broca's speech area in the inferior frontal gyrus.
