View of the pterygoid recess. The bone and dura of the middle fossa have been partially removed, and the content of pterygopalatine fossa is moved laterally. The oculomotor, abducens, and ophthalmic nerve run into the superior orbital fissure (SOF). V2 can be seen travelling through the foramen rotundum.
