Magnified view of the choroidal fissure. The anterior choroidal artery branches off the internal carotid artery just prior to the internal carotid artery bifurcation into the MCA and ACA,. The anterior choroidal artery courses posteriorly and laterally into the temporal horn of the lateral ventricle at the inferior choroidal point within the choroidal fissure.
