Lateral view of the left infratemporal fossa, orbit, and middle cranial fossa. Also, the maxillary sinus has been exposed. The lateral and medial pterygoid muscles have been removed and a portion of the lateral pterygoid plate. This exposes the tensor veli palatini muscle descending toward the soft palate.
