The color code corresponding to each PCA branch is as follows: red, hippocampal artery; yellow, temporal arteries; green, calcarine arteries; and blue, parieto-occipital artery. The temporal arteries are further subdivided: transverse yellow stripes, anterior temporal artery; vertical yellow stripes, common temporal artery; diagonal stripes, angled upward to right, anterior temporal artery; and, diagonal stripes angled down to right, posterior temporal artery.
