Frontosphenoidal junction. Anterior view. The cribiform plate enters the anterior cranial fossa through the the ethmoidal notch of the frontal bone. The fovea ethmoidalis of the frontal bone covers the ethmoid cells and separates them from the anterior cranial fossa.
