Endoscopic endonasal approach through the left nostril. The middle turbinate has been displaced medially to better show the bulla ethmoidalis behind the uncinate process. The middle meatus lies between the middle and inferior turbinates and the hiatus semilunaris is limited below by the edge of the uncinate process and above by the bulla ethmoidalis.
