Coronal extension of the endonasal approach in the left side. The trigeminal nerve branches can be identified a well as the abducens nerve. V1 runs through the SOF, V2 runs through foramen rotundum, and V3 travels to infratemporal fossa through foramen ovale. The facial and vestibulocochlear nerves go toward the IAC located in the posterior aspect of the petrous bone. The glossopharyngeal and vagus nerves exit the skull by the jugular foramen, and the hypoglossal nerve runs through the hypoglossal canal. (Image courtesy of JC Fernandez-Miranda)
